Have hired from Enterprise many times and always received excellent service. Staff took the time to check i was happy with the hire. Next time i hire a car, it will be with enterprise

I booked a car for 3 days through the phone I was told to take my driving license and a debit card when I go to pick the car up. I went on the day a male staff took my driving licence and started to type my detail on the computer after a few minutes he said that my name and address does not exist on the computer to the one on my driving licence. I was shocked to hear that I told him that can’t be possible, with me I took my council tax bill and other utility bill with my name and address on but he refused to look at those. He did not even take my debit card to have a second look to see if that was a computer glitch. He told me that he was doing a light credit check and could not find me on the system. I was refused the car I was so embarrassed and felt I was treated like a criminal after having rented cars from this company for more 12 years. all my plans shattered went home very disappointed.

Collected van on Saturday for one day hire, manager was very unhelpful and quite obstructive really. Said I couldn’t leave my car there overnight as he didn’t have the space. Didn’t understand this logic as I obviously was removing a van and wanted to leave my car in its place. He would not try to resolve the situation in any way, ended up leaving my car outside on the street. The rest of the staff I dealt with were very helpful and professional but their distancing procedure could be looked at. The van was fine apart from not having air con ! Which i was very surprised about ( 69 plate )

Rented 3 (small) SUVs in as many weeks. The initial vehicle had a significant issue however I was unable to return and exchange due to my location. Upon return Enterprise reimbursed 50% of the hire price and 50% off my next hire. When hired 2nd time, they also upgraded to a Jaguar (amazing drive and comfort) 3rd time; disappointing vehicle choice (in my opinion) I chose the Ford Kuga although it was very basic, with a lack of power up hill. I wouldn't recommend this vehicle if on a long journey with hills. If you don't mind travelling in 1st and 2nd lane, you'll be fine. Overall I would recommend. The staff have been extremely helpful and supportive. Definitely the place to hire from.
