My car broke down so picked up a courtesy car from Enterprise Penzance. The pickup was speedy and very relaxed, however after driving 15 min down the road we noticed damage that wasn’t mentioned when we picked the car up. We phoned up the office and sent pictures of the damage and we were told that’s fine. We then dropped the car off at Enterprise Portsmouth where they picked up the damage and said they had to charge us a 500 excess. We were never offered an excess waiver at Penzance which is usually only 13.50. Therefore the Portsmouth branch setup a claim for us and the next day the claim was closed. We are just waiting for the 50 deposit to be refunded. Keri-Ann at Penzance was lovely, and phoned up to apologise for the incident. Overall it was a big hassle but dealt with extremely well and I would be happy to use enterprise again (but always take a video of the vehicle at pickup!).
