A charming and friendly brewery tap, with the feel of a local cafe. Plenty of free parking and outside seating for warmer days. We enjoyed a splendid lunch with a flight of three ales - Thanks, Sheila. Location, on the edge of Rowrah village, [no idea how to pronounce that!], and not far from Cogra Moss lake and Western Fells.

Our first visit here, it won't be the last! Lovely afternoon tea, and lots of it! Came away with 2 boxes of cakes and already eaten plenty. All home made with a good selection of savory items, plenty sandwiches, home made quiches and sausage rolls. Cakes up to now have been delicious! All the food being served looked good. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.
Been today afternoon tea beautiful lovely place great staff cudnt do enough for you be back
First visit since they reopened after Covid lockdown. Only popped in for a quick pint and some light food after a day on the fells. Everything was really well set up with lots of space between tables and clear markers on the floor to help with distancing. As soon as tables were vacated they were properly cleaned. The best thing was that despite the extra measures they'd managed to keep the friendly atmosphere. The staff were great, food was excellent and the beer is always spot on.
Great place, great ale
