unfortunately the setting and the waitress where the only thing going for this place. The food was tasteless and bland with a discrete lack of seasoning! They need to concentrate on simple dishes instead of overly complicated food. Promised more than they could deliver, luckily we cut our losses after the starter or the bill would have been a Punch in the stomach worse than the food. We went to a McDonalds straight after. Happily the food was more filling and satisfying than the food that we got here.

If you visit this area in France you must eat at En Catimini. The food and the hosts are fabulous. The patron has great knowledge of the wines from the region and Hermionie speaks exceptional English. The whole experience is one not to be missed. In summer ones eats in the lovely garden and during inclement days one eats in the beautiful Chinese dining room. This small village are very lucky to have such a prestigious restaurant in their midst.
We have been to En Catimini many times since discovering it by chance last year and have never been disappointed. As vegetarians living in France it was a joy to find a restaurant that not only served vegetarian food, but produced interesting, tasty, beautifully presented vegetarian French food. They use fresh, local, seasonal produce. Each time we visit we encounter different dishes; always superb. It is excellent for carnivores too (with whom we normally dine!) with a variety of interesting meat, but also fish, dishes. On the menu it is indicate that other dietary needs can be accomodated. A small but manageable menu. The setting is calm both inside and out. Outside the tables are in a quiet garden full of plants and inside is more elegant. The staff are delightful: helpful, friendly, knowledgeable. and speak both French and English. The wine menu (book!)is a bit overwhelming but interesting and staff are eager to advise. We are always eager to take friends there! Friends and family that we take there also really enjoy the architecture and decorations. A hidden gem!
Very relaxed and calm atmosphere, the food was fabulous, the wine was to die for and the staff very friendly and helpful.The mini tour after our meal was a great treat. I will be returning.
Great food, great setting, well worth a visit
Nice restaurant with good food. Not the usual menu but many creative dishes. Some are a little expensive but they also have menu's at around 20 euros
Malgré une arrivée tardive de notre part, nous avons été très agréablement accueilli. Le cadre est très mignon, le concept est très intéressant et la \dînette\ de poissons fumés à tomber par terre (le reste était très bon aussi). Bref, nous n''avons pas été déçus et nous avons passé un très bon moment. Merci beaucoup
un superbe escalier digne du Titanic la propriétaire est sympathique et raconte l histoire de la bâtisse. Le repas cuisine moderne - un peu trop moderne à notre goût la viande est tendre mais on cherche un peu les légumes (c est frais donc rare) les profiterons n ont que le nom les minis choux sont mous la mousse au chocolat a une texture très bizarre. c est dommage.
