After having a total nightmare with my order and non delivery with CURRY'S IN ASHTON, I decided in future to only use local stores. Went down Saturday picked a fridge/freezer and washing machine, not mithered by salesmen while looking but helpful when asked. (he was not prepared to barter, but got to try being a Martin Lewis fan). I paid my money, delivered within the 2 hour time slot stated on Monday. Cannot comment on after service, I hope I will never need it!

Bare faced lies!! BUYERS BEWARE!!!! Having shopped with Empire for over 30 years (my children too), my wife wanted to purchase a fridge freezer (a easy task, easy purchase - a easy sale!!). We found a cheaper online purchase price BUT keen in these uncertain times to continue to supporting local we wanted to buy from empire. My wife found called into store found the fridge, needed delivery of the item and the old fridge/ freezer removing, not a problem she was told. The fridge freezer arrived, old moved out of the way and as the delivery men started to walk off she asked when they were taking the old?? ''Dont do it'' was the response. Confused and too scared to challenge they left. I called the office, spoke to the most arrogant man and was told no one had agreed to removing the old but upon pressing I was told they actually had but had stopped collecting the old as of the day before?!! Empire basically told us a lie to sell a fridge freezer and promptly I cancelled the card transaction and left the fridge on the drive for them to collect! All buyers beware - via Am*zon you can buy 40/ 50 cheaper items with FREE collection of your old items! Saving you time, money and hassle (and no need to type out a review.)
