Our kids called for some Mexican food on a family holiday. My wife was never a big fan, but we thought we should find plenty to eat for everyone.

This was some of the best Mexican food I've ever had and an overall excellent restaurant experience. The chips and salsa tasted very fresh and the guacamole was incredibly smooth. I had the chicken chimichanga and it was great. It was crispy on the outside and the chicken didn't end up dry at all. The rice and beans were also great and really brought the meal together. The staff was friendly, but not in an extremely persistent way that would be annoying. The restaurant is in a great location and has great views. It sits over a golf course with mountains in the background, so there's a lot to take in visually. Stylistically, the restaurant has a very classic look. The tables are painted to look like they have tiles and one of the walls in the back room featured a mural. The music they had playing completed the atmosphere and all of this at once made me feel a nostalgia that I haven't felt in a while.
Amazing place...girlfriend has been going to margarita Monday here for years and we have been going together with her family for a few months...it is so nice to be recognized when you walk in and everyone is always happy to see us
OMG! This is the best place to get a Jumbo Cadillac Margarita AND the best ever,.....Ceviche in San Diego! Get it mix with fish and shrimp, it is delicious. .
Food was very good. Nice view over the golf course if you sit in the back room. There's also a Sunday brunch. Service wasn't good--no water refills and had to go to other room to ask for tortillas. Would I go back? Yes but I'd be more proactive with the server.
