The Emerging Payments Association (EPA) is a thriving community of payments professionals whose goals are to strengthen and expand the payments industry to benefit all stakeholders. Since 2004 we have been instrumental in helping to connect the eco-system, encourage innovation and profitable business growth on behalf of over 100 member companies. We achieve this by shaping an annual programme of activities with our independent board and advisers, which addresses the key issues impacting the industry. These include targeted events, conferences, award ceremonies, critical industry projects and lobbying activities. Our 2018 calendar includes: Monthly networking drinks for members CEO roundtable dinners 'Hot Topic'​ briefings Digital payments and innovation conferences Emerging Payments Awards Training courses Critical industry projects at present tackle: • Exploring new payments business models • Preserving UK’s ‘passporting’ rights • Identifying emerging payments markets with opportunities for members- Mexico, China and Serbia are a particular focus at present • Summarising payments issues impacted by UK’s negotiations with EU Our output also consists of white papers, case studies, thought leadership articles, legal advice and press releases.
