Emerald House of Cars

This is my first experience of purchasing a car on my own as usually my partner does it. Straight away I felt comfortable talking to the staff and they made me feel at ease about everything. I felt absolutely no pressure at all to make any decisions and any questions I had were answered quickly and easily. I dealt with the same lovely lady all the way through which I also liked and she was available all the time for any queries I had. I was sent a thorough video of the car and absolutely entry detail was recorded and spoken about so there were no nasty surprises. Transparency ans honesty from the start. The transaction was so smooth and painless especially considering the pandemic at the moment. I arranged my time to collect the car and they were ready and waiting. Everything explained to me in understandable terms and done and dusted in under 30 minutes. I'm really impressed with the service and how I was made to feel comfortable and stress free. I know if I have any issues I can contact Emerald and they'll be happy to assist. Nothing has been too much for these guys and even on site they were polite, happy and accommodating even in these strict circumstances. I would recommend to anyone to use Emerald, expecially those like me who are nervous and clueless about this sort of thing. Thanks guys for everything. Stay safe x

Stay Away! If you want a car that’s full of faults, accident damaged, be lied to and laughed at then Emerald house of cars is the best place to go to. In July I purchased a car from this dealership (Audi A3)on HP and what a mistake it was. In first few hours of car being in my possession issues started to happen. Fuelling issue - the fuel nozzle would repeatedly cut off flow of the fuel ( tank was empty) and I was told by dealerships mechanic that it’s fine just need to find the right angle to fuel which left me feeling stupid. The tyre pressure was shockingly low. A deep cut on the near side rear tyre - cords visible. Rear screen wash was inoperative. Number plate light bulb is intermittently operative. After all this that was occurring I got suspicious and later that week I drove it to my garage for closer check as MOT at this point is very questionable and more issues were added to the list — off side rear coil spring broken, front discs are corroded and pitted on the inside, rear brake pads worn 90%, both drivers and passenger doors’ hinges/ check straps are inappropriately secured AND on top of all this I am told by my mechanic that there is a strong suspicion that the car has been in an accident — Near side suspension components all replaced, repaired, repainted. At this Point I am fuuuuuming... Having to know all this I decided to take it to Audi main dealership to get more info. Audi found even more faults and also stated that the car has been in an accident. At this point I am so angry because I have been messed about, lied to so bad specifically when I asked for a HPI clear car. Blame shifting thief’s. They don’t care about your safety all they care about is their pockets being stuffed with your money The Big Question Is How Did The Car Got MOT PASS????????

Emily from the sales team was great she helped me with securing the car I was interested in. The manager gave off dodgy car salesman vibes and they were correct when it came to him offering me a part ex value for my vehicle. He was offering me less but I advised him based on auto trader and car wow I should be receiving more. He stated those figure were not correct due to covid however the websites clearly stated they took the pandemic into consideration. On their website they state the 128 point check is completed by in house technicians - this is biased and completely defeats the objective of these checks. This was proven as my window switch and 12v sockets were not working. The three month warranty is not extendable and in the recent snow once my warranty expired I have experienced issues with the x drive system. Unfortunately this could not have been tested sooner but I do not believe this is a new issue. I only traded in my previous car as it was a 3dr and I needed something more suitable for a family. I traded in an immaculate car for this car which will cost me a lot of money in repairs and possibly need replacing in the near future. I have only had it for 7 months. They fixed the window switch and replaced the 12v fuse as a \gesture of good will\ when they gave it to me not working LOL the rest of the issues are mine to deal with. Also after giving them my car to complete their \good will gesture\ the reverse sensors no longer work \u200d️. Unbelievable!

Very good service. There were a couple of minor things I noticed needing doing with the car I wanted but Simon the sales guy jumped on it and got everything sorted at their on site service centre and I’m very happy with the work carried out, the communication and professionalism given with the sale of the car. Will definitely come here first for future cars.

If I could give more then 5 stars I would! From start to finish Simon has been amazing, attentive, friendly and basically the “car salesman” dream. I had been looking for a car for months, a family car, I’d had no joy until I came across this car from emerald. Communication was great from start to finish, no question was a problem, really helpful and basically made my car buying experience a really pleasant one. I’ll definitely be recommending emerald, if you want the personal experience when purchasing a car, use these guys... oh and ask for Simon
