I was expecting some Soviet-style treatment here, but in reality the Embassy’s staff were super friendly and helpful, no issues whatsoever. I took an appointment on the website, requested a document in the end of August and got the result back by post within just a few days, despite the vacation season and COVID. Thanks a lot!

They change the rules for Visa applications constantly. Now they ask for a useless travel programme for your visa application if it is for more than 13 days, although the cities you are going to visit are already on your voucher. Really great to make it more complicated than it is already in order to give travel agencies one more reason to rip off tourists.

Simply disgusting behavior, everytime you call them, the women give an attitude, snark and are annoyed that you called them. Their favorite reply is: “ well, that should be obvious, no?”. Dear madam, no it’s not obvious to me as it’s not my area of expertise. Moreover, they are simply impolite and will never greet you (even when you are the one to start) or wish you a good day. Furthermore, the women there are simply hilarious, at first my documents were accepted, everything was fine, yet suddenly they found out a mistake. After more than one week!!!!

Only in Russian embassy the Russian citizens can feel like the stupidest rubish because of people who are working there! Shame to welcome people in their propre embassy like that. I think the stuff who are working their directly with people, especially 2 women with asiatique look from 1st and 3 window forgot that they are working there to SERVE Russian people, to help and to explain, to support but not to being agressive, unprofessional, angry and provocative. They also forgot, that unfortunately, that they are the face of Russian Federation in Paris and the only help for Russian people living in France.
