This is a splendid Baptist Church with a real passion for Jesus. I was baptised here 20 years ago by Richard. Although i do not attend this church any more i would still highly recommend it if you are looking to explore your faith. Ask them about alpha groups.

About 18 - months or so ago I was feeling the need to pray, something I know you can do anywhere , without visiting church but some how I felt the need to go a step closer to the good Lord himself. I was quite delighted one day whilst walking my dog And stopping to chat with a ladie whom I recognised. I did not know this ladie but often used to exchange pleasantries if she was in her garden whilst walking the dog. This particular day i somehow opened up my feelings to her about the need to pray , and from that day on my life changed for the better. I was invited to the baptist church coffee morning to see if this was the right Avenue I wanted to go down , a kind of sampler for what actually happens on the day when most people congregate to worship together. Although feeling apprehensive and nervous I enjoyed the coffee morning very much and I was made so welcome by all who attended. From then on I started to go to s.b.c and found that attending church on sundays was without a doubt one of the best things I’ve done in my entire life, it’s almost like a piece of jigsaw puzzle was missing from my life and I’ve now found it and it fits together perfectly. I have made many friends since attending church apart from learning what God has to offer and how Jesus died for us. I enjoy my time spent in church and am learning about the life of Jesus Christ and how the church has changed my life for the better, it has given me so much to look forward to and a real purpose in life, something I was lacking. I thank the Lord for all he has given me and to all the people who i now call my church family. God bless you all ️
