Small, ugly double room, with a tiny window somewhere high near the ceiling and seperate beds. Medieval romantic conditions in the maids room, for nearly 100 euros, out of season in October !!! We should have been warned for the quality of the room, cause when we booked it on booking.com, we didn't see it in the pictures. The images for the room were promoting other ones!!!

Great food for a good price
Pro; Wonderful grounds, great location. Con: Towels were frayed, and I asked the bar to borrow a fork and knife and they reacted like I’d asked for their firstborn.
The class and delicious food
#25Beek-Elsloo very picturesque place to stop for a drink along my travels. The terrace is very pretty with some box hedging and mini gardens and a lovely water feature whose running water adds to the ambience. I ordered a Limburg coffee to taste the liquor that was once made nearby in Beek. Still not sure how it was supposed to be drunk (mix all together?) Either way it was perfect location for a stop. The menu looks amazing and the delivery vans arriving throughout my small stop appears to be a testimant to the freshness of the food #railthetrails
