Yes this is a hardware store but there’s much more than just hardware .First there’s the kitchen cookware shop full of quality stuff,the main shop has a large easy to use car park where you’ll find a good range of compost peat bark etc everything for the garden or greenhouse,inside the shop there’s a good range garden tools garden machinery lawnmowers chainsaws etc there’s also the hardware of course and there’s a section for workshop tools,hand tools power tools woodwork machinery and everything that goes with them. I’ve used this shop for more years than I care to remember and I’ve found the after sales service is second to none.
Its always a good trip to get hardware garden needs etc.very cheerful helpful people there.
Try to use Elmer's to support my local tool shop. They are always helpful and friendly and I have shopped here for many years. Yes online is sometimes cheaper but after sales service and backup is worth more to me. Worth a visit to find that tool you never knew you needed until you saw it.
Such a little treasure. Elmers has been going for years, it is the quintessential English hardware store right out of the Two Ronnie's 'For k 'andles' sketch. Go for polite friendly service, hardware, garden and kitchen supplies, powertools and plugs ( for sinks and electric sockets ) Well worth a visit. You will find something that you never knew you wanted.
