Do not waste your money! There are hardly any apples on the trees and the ones that are, are rotten. By far the worst orchard I have ever been to. Edit: In response to the below.. I already received a full refund as we spent around a half hour searching for good apples (left with none). There were several other groups who we spoke with, who also experienced the same.. The only good apples we could find were in giant bins, which if I wanted to pick apples from a bin I would go to the grocery store and wouldn't be forced to pay admission. Didn't see any staff around the apple trees, not to mention the absolute droves of people (maybe half wearing masks) and very long lines.. Needless to say I will not be returning to this farm.

We had a great time u-picking this year as we do each year! Wonderful for families with not as many frills as the other places. I personally don't like how the bigger orchards are super crowded and have this and that and the other thing for additional money or you spend a lot of time doing activities and don't get to actually experience the orchard.

I am not sure what we were expecting coming here at noon on a Saturday... nothing against the place itself - it looks like your standard orchard - but the crowd was out of control. My picture shows the line for apple picking. Thank god we weren’t here for that. All we wanted was to pick pumpkins. The pumpkin patch was picked to bare bones, we fought for the few pumpkins left and lost to another family. We then paid 24 for 11 honey crisp apples and called it a day. I am sure it is a nice place when it is not like a state fairground. They are serious about the business for sure: they had many people directing traffic and they even had 3 porta potties for the crowds. It was like a concert ground. But it was too much for us and our toddler. We will avoid Red Apple Barn during high season. Edit: We really appreciated candid response of the owner. We agree that they are doing their best given the circumstances. How many people visit their farm is not under their control and the employees were doing their best under the circumstances. On a positive note, we tasted their apples, and give them a thumbs up.

Came here for a fun fall day of apple picking, they have pumpkins too. We went early and there was already a large lineup, it’s a very popular place! By the time we left around 1:30 the lineup was even longer so go early if you can. It is a family friendly place with lots of activities for kids. The cost is 9 admission per person and we got a 1/2 pickett in a bag (which is around 15 apples) for 8.25, it’s 5 more for a basket. There were a few selections of different apples likes golden delicious, pink ladies, Granny Smith, Mitzu and more. They had a store where you could purchase apple cider, honey, jams, breads, pies etc. Included in the admission is one cup of apple cider and one apple cider donut.

Thank you for a great apple picking experience plus all the extras that were included! We enjoyed meeting the various family members that run the farm making it an enjoyable day out. We're visiting from Florida and will be back next year. Thank you again and God Bless!
