Found this site using google maps. What struck me was how neat and tidy the place was. Being on a hill it had good views of the surrounding countryside, but what blew me away was the Dingle. A dog’s walking paradise which meandered down the hill in a gully. Crossing a dry stream twice over it was completely covered by trees. Daisy was totally immersed as we walked together down the hill to the fields below. Just one thing, thank you Tara for recommending it to her.

Birch Hill Farm is an excellent well run site in a stunning location. We are thoroughly enjoying our third stay, and will definitely be returning in the near future. We have visited many CLs over the years, and Birch Hill Farm is one of the best.

Just perfect for a relaxing few days. Owners are incredibly helpful, and provide welcome pack on arrival. Pitches are flat, and well spaced out. Basic facilities, but what more do you need. We have a motor home, and never took it off site for the 3 nights we were there. Ellesmere is a lovely little town with some nice places to eat, and a very nice real ale pub in the Vaults. Walking around the mere and on the canal is lovely. Took us about 20 minutes to walk into Ellesmere. Good area for cycling as well, as fairly flat. Just a little road noise, but I'm a light sleeper and it didn't worry me. Wifi worked just fine for us.
