Wheelchair-accessible car park
Park is a nice change of scenery. There is a dog park, play area, a picnic area, a pool area (when it's open), and the pond with ducks, geese, etc. There is plenty of room to social distance - just depends on who decides to enjoy the park. Many were wearing masks and others were just maintaining distance. All in all, a great placed to relax and spend some time. There are several signs now that say DO NOT feed the ducks but there were some who were still doing it. That makes sense...how good can it be if their diet is bread, donuts, fries, or whatever else people decide to throw to the birds. Not sure how big of an issue it is; people are still going to do what they do unless they are going to have someone around to educate people and/or issue warnings or citations.

Nice trail all the way around the park. Chilly but not too many people to walk around.
I've Loved this park since I was born and growing up in elk Grove as a kid in a very small town. I still love to go back there and visit the park whenever I pass through elk Grove. It's a great place to grab some lunch to go and stop at the park and relax and enjoy your meal in beauty and peace. I still love to visit the park when I can and then specially remember all those times I have growing up and through the rest of my adult life.
A world class park. Leave the geese alone... The Sacramento Shipwrights meet here on Fridays if you like rc boats/ships etc...The park has everything and goes on forever. I'm quite amazed.
If you don't come here when it's cold and foggy, why even bother? This park is not really all that special in any way, but it has a strange, fairy tale like vibe. If you're looking for a quite moment, avoid bright sunny days. There are lots of people here on normal days. Overall, I recommend this park.
