It's always a great time at Donde Mi ama, a trendy Colombian food eatery. The staff, the entire staff, security included iz always friendly and welcoming and beautiful, men included. The food is DELICIOUS! Everytime. Calamari is a great starter although it can be a little crunchier, the season that they use is similar to a cajun spice. When the food is presented it is wrapped in plastic to cover from the servers carrying from kitchen to table. I also had the Sancocho with beef and chicken. It came with a side of white rice and mixed salad all for 10. The only hiccup we had was with a burger we ordered. The description didn't mention ham slice and we had to have the burger remade because of an allergy. They remade it without a problem and apologized. We packed our burger to go and were given lids for our sauces. The gratuity is automatically added still double check but we always leave a little extra for the great service.

Wonderful atmosphere, food and service. Tables are spaced properly during this pandemic and not overcrowded. I highly recommend!

The food and the service has gone downhill since two years ago that we went there. The food came out before she got the drinks to the table! The frozen margarita was not frozen. Apparently, they didn't know what a frozen margarita is. And tasted horrible. My sister didn't drink it. Steak was plain and tough. The salad I asked to be meat free, (she came back to asked me twice) still came out with ham in it. We will not be coming back. I rather go to Chingon for better food and drinks.

Other than great drinks and the colombian ambience this place brings, when you're in the mood to \snack\ you will not fail with their picada. The variety of meats along with how big it is...this picada is a winner. Also love that in comparisons to other it was not packed with just potato/yucca.
