Came for a flying visit on Friday. Was shown around by a really nice sales guy and even though we outlined to him that we weren’t ready to buy just yet he spent over an hour with us showing us various layouts and giving us some great info as we are complete newbies. Will definitely be back when we are ready to buy!
Dreadful experience. Buyer beware!! Agreed a deal for part exchange, prior to van being viewed by dealer. Van was then viewed and damp checked, deal agreed, several communication problems and promises renamed on by dealer but finally agreed exchange date. All monies paid, paperwork signed, handover completed. Just about to drive away in new van when we are approached by one of the service managers who said that they had damp checked our van again and that there was a big problem that would cost 2000 to fix. Our original van was still under warranty so they said we should speak to the dealer who sold us the van. We were unhappy as had a contract with them, paperwork signed and monies exchanged, have reported to trading standards.The other deal offered to buy our van back from them so we could continue with our sale but they were greedy and asked for 3000 more than they were giving us a s part ex. I have never in my life come across such unprofessional people. I have since read and heard that they have done this to others so not just us. Once upon a time goodwil and customer service were important but greed has taken over!!
I just purchased a used Motorhome from Elite, I live in Scotland so did a virtual tour of the vehicle with the salesman, the vehicle was delivered last week and I am absolutely delighted with the motorhome and the whole experience dealing with this company. Saw these guys at Lincoln show this weekend. Got chatting to a young chap there, really nice guy and spent a lot of time with us showing us various layouts. Will defiantly be back to buy one when the time is right.
