Tried to telephone my local store to check product availability. Have to phone central number who told me there is no record of my local store on their database so they couldn't help me. Could only suggest I visit the store to find out if they stock what I want. When I said this might involve a round trip of 40 miles only to find out they don't have it I was told there was nothing else they could do as they have no way to contact the store. They even asked if I was sure the store was still trading. Unbelievable. In fact the local staff are excellent and have been let down badly by Holland & Barrett's centralised system.
Absolutely disgraceful! Went in yesterday , Saturday, to purchase two products, one was out of stock was advised to order for delivery, and also advised not to purchase other product in store, as both would be delivered Monday, and with free postage. What a joke! Got home to receive email confirmation, charging for delivery, and stating that the goods would not be delivered before next Friday! Rip off company with absolutely no customer care, you should be bloody ashamed of yourselves! Those products were wanted to ease suffering for end stage life patient, which was stated at the time. How dare you have such utter disrespect for life!
Expensive, but its got more or less everything under one roof for this type of shop. Some reasonable deals if you buy multiple items.
