Triple head rapid charger serves a single neatly placed bay at the back of the services, tucked in behind the shop. 52 inclusive annual charges for Ecotricity consumers, 6 for everyone else and thereafter. Setup via the app is quick and easy. I'd recommend following the left hand edge of these services as you come in. There is no service road access to the other side so you'll need a little extra mileage (3mi) to turn around on the next turnpike.

The Chademo connection worked fine for me. It's a helpful location on the way into Hull, given that there aren't many chargers round that area. It's unfortunate that it cannot be accessed directly from the westbound carriageway though.
Peaceful surrounds, with only the roar of the motorway and speeding lorries to break the illusion of a remote country retreat. Nearby facilities are second to none, with free-to-use toilets and a range of chocolate bars and pasties from the very small shop that serves as the petrol station. The lack of seats or a picnic table feels only a slight inconvenience, and the lack of a pedestrian path to the shop adds excitement and adrenaline. I look forward eagerly to my next visit.
