Elder Street a firm family favourite of ours!! Gregg and his staff are friendly and attentive. The food is fantastic and we always order our Christmas food here. Whether you're sitting in or taking away, cannot recommend this place enough!!

Homemade walnut and coffee cake was lovely. Coffee (decaf/soy) really good too. A beautiful sunny day, so busy, but speedy, friendly and efficient service. Lovely cycle route to Debden Barns and plenty of outside chairs/benches. Everything very clean and well managed during these Covid times.
Nice cafe in a rural location. Staff were friendly and the service was relatively quick. There was good social distancing and hygiene measures. My coffee was good and I ordered a bacon sandwich. It would have been nice to have been asked what type of bread I would have liked; I was given white bread. However, the bacon was nicely cooked. The price was reasonable. I'll happily return.
Had a wonderful xmas meal dec 2020 staff very friendly and helpful, will hopefully return this year
Fantastic afternoon tea. We were 20 people and the food and service was great. I highly recommend it.
