We came here today Valentine's Sunday and we got here before they were busy and the food was okay at best. The tortillas were hard and I swear they used the store bought tortillas. The rice was edible and the rest of the food as well. I felt bad because our server was super nice and the kitchen kept getting our order wrong. The server was the only thing great about this restaurant.

El Torito was great. Our server Chris was outstanding and everything about the meal all the way to the deep fried ice cream dessert was top notch. The price was very reasonable. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend this La Mesa restaurant to everyone.
Decent Mexican restaurant. The tacos here are great. The burrito was disappointing. Definitely the all you can eat tacos is an option worth considering. Service was good. During COVID this place is worth considering and going.

Food was great ... Server was kind and friendly. We did patio dining and were the only ones outside. Everyone else dined inside!
