It was just all right, the salsa was horrible even when we got the extra spicy but the cheese dip was good. The enchiladas were extremely dry and the mixed fajitas were burnt but the pieces that were edible were tasty. The waitress only came to our table a couple times and was not very friendly. We left her a big tip hoping that would make her treat the next customer's better.
My husband recently brought me here for a lunch date and I ordered the Burrito Rio Grande as well as an Al Pastor street taco. We also shared some cheese dip for an appetizer and the churros for dessert. The entire meal was delicious from start to finish. Our food was fresh, flavorful and boasted great portions. I would recommend this place for a great Mexican meal for sure. The service was wonderful too.
The food was great and plentiful. The host was friendly and helpful when needed. Our server was attentive and helped me with my spanish. Enjoyed ourselves, will go again.
El Sombrero has delicious Mexican food and wonderful service. Their dishes are fresh, offer generous portions and great flavor! In my most recent visits I’ve had their Parrillada Mexicana, some Al Pastor street tacos, and the Burrito Carne Asada. I’ve enjoyed all the meals I’ve had from here and their Al Pastor is definitely among the best in Springfield. Additionally, their churros for dessert are so good and a must have!!
