We've been told by several people that this was a great place to eat. Tonight we tried it out and they didn't lie! The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly! It's located on historic route 66 (11th St), just to the north of Hillcrest Hospital! I highly recommend! Went there yesterday for lunch and again they did not disappoint!!

Their food is delicious and the portions are large. Plenty of food for leftovers if you want to have another meal later. I also enjoy their margaritas. Not too sweet or too sour. Just right. Our server was very nice and attentive. We will definitely be back.

We are driving Route 66 from Chicago to L.A. We heard about this place in several Rt. 66 guidebooks and thought we would give it a try and see if it measured up to Mexican restaurants in the Chicago area. The food was excellent. From the moment we entered through the front door, the staff was quick to seat us and take our orders. The men's bathroom even has a speaker in the top corner and great wall decor - attention was definitely paid to details here at this restaurant! So why not 5 stars? We asked for bottles of salsa and our waitress had no idea what we were talking about. Perhaps this is a midwestern thing (bringing salsa bottles to the table)? When we shared with several waitstaff we were driving Route 66 and we had read about this restaurant and we wanted to stop here, staff didn't seem as excited (or knowledgeable of Rt. 66) as we thought they would. A downside? I ordered a 9 \Perfect margarita\ and it was served to me in a small tumbler glass! It is by far the SMALLEST margarita I have ever had. This was disappointing. Either way, the cuisine is excellent and for those Route 66 travelers, this might be a welcome place to get away from burgers and hotdogs.

I am not local to the area, but I do live in Oklahoma. I have a good idea what to expect from a Mexican restaurant in Oklahoma. So when this location was near where I was, I decided to give it a shot based on a recommendation. Each family member order something different, and nobody was overly impressed. I would not try to discourage someone from going, but I just in my opinion have had better.
