Great food and drink menus. Phenomenal new rooftop patio after a recent remodel. The area downstairs (ground level) below the rooftop bar has the roll top garage doors to open it to the outside as well and boasts a stage for some live music if this Covid would dry up already. This is now the Coolest place in D/FW. Live Crawfish will fill me up on my next trip. The signature cocktails are greatness. If you make it to happy hour, say hey. I'll be up top grinning like I just won something.

El Primo's is a fantastic spot to grab a drink or dinner. The expansion that has been completed on the facility is AMAZING! The food quality, portion size, and taste is great! On evenings when the weather is nice, the roof top dining area is a fun place to hang out with friends and family. They have live music most every night and their are plenty of TVs to watch you favorite game on. Hands down, this is my favorite Mexican Grill & Cantina anywhere around.
Fantastic chips and salsa! Tried the strawberry margarita and was very happy! We got the combo fajitas for 2 - chicken and steak. I'm VERY picky about how my meat is cooked and I was thrilled that the chicken was not rubber and not dry! It was perfect! The steak was fantastic too! The tortillas are so soft and clearly homemade. All the ingredients were so fresh. And the restaurant offers a variety of atmospheres. We dined indoors and had a great date night!
The new remodel looks good, but the back room feels real secluded. Service a little slower back in the back. Appetizers and drinks were good but the entrees were bland. Didn't even waste to go boxes to take home the entree leftovers. Fish tacos were extra fishy, too much mayo weird sauce on them. Chicken fajitas weren't even sizzling, also bland and extra chalky dry. No flavor. Waste of a good chicken. 6 of us dined in 12/18/2020.
Great atmosphere. Terrible food. Eaten here 5 times trying to maybe happen upon something that tastes good. Nothing does. Please put effort into improving your food quality.
