Look guys, I want to send a better review but upon trying to add my address to your app, I’ve had significant difficulties and I’m not generous. I am a techie. I shouldn’t have to have a hard time trying to add my address for delivery. If delivery is not offered, then don’t offer it. Don’t. Offer. Delivery. Delivery seems like it doesn’t work with your company. I am not talking about through a third-party. You offer delivery through your app.

The food here is good, meets the expectation. The location is unfortunately around a number of homeless camps, which means El Pollo Loco employees have to constantly battle the homeless entering the store or bugging customers outside the store. Anything that happens outside the restaurant can be reasonably inferred as not in El Pollo Loco's control. However, the restaurant needs to do a better job at keeping the homeless outside the restaurant, considering the pandemic situation. All of 5 stars rated above goes out to the hard working employees that do all they can to keep the homeless away and clean all around the restaurant multiple times a day and still greet customers with a smile. I work around here and I see what you all have to go through on a daily basis. You all should be proud of your hard work.
You gotta love El Pollo Loco. Chicken cooked over a flame is the best if done right and they know how to do it right. You may have guessed from the name that this is a Mexican inspired restaurant that specializes in chicken dishes. They also have some beef dishes as well but the menu is more chicken centric than anything else. I have never ordered a dish here that I did not like. The chicken avocado burrito is my favorite though. It is large with juicy chunks of chicken and large slices of avocado. Chicken and avocado are a heavenly combination and this is one heavenly burrito. Unfortunately the current pandemic has forced them to close their dining room but you can still go in and order take out. They also offer delivery through the GrubHub app. Since the dining room is closed they have also closed their fresh salsa bar. That is a bit of a disappointment but understandable and their food is still really good with store bought salsa so don't let that deter you.
This place was hot fire!!! Worth the long wait in line. I came from out of town and heard a lot of good things about this place so I figured I'd try it out. Chicken is just the right amount of spicy and it's super juicy!
Chicken was delicious and moist. The tortilla wraps were soft. The tortilla chips were amazing!!! All the sauces were also good.
