Excellent museum and an essential place to visit if you're interested in silk. Live demonstrations on vintage equipment continuously.
A precious jewel set in the heart of La Palma. The friendly artists are extremely informative and passionate about keeping this centuries old tradición live and thriving. Really interesting
Downstairs you can see how the silk goes from cocoon to scarf but the traditional process. Upstairs they have beautiful things made out of silk, including some amazing embroidery. The ship's tiny because they mostly work to order, but I treated myself to some silk tassel earrings which I'm very happy with.
Small but very interesting museum about local art. Has a very interesting workshop about traditional silk manufacturing. When working at full capacity its easy to spend an hour watching the process
