The Gaby Banks review is completely falsified and untrue. Her debit card happened to be declined due to whatever reason, not the restaurant’s fault, so she paid with cash instead. As per usual, the amount was pending on her account for a few business days as always happens, even with declined charges. I happened to be at the restaurant when she called about four times on New Year’s Eve and demanded a complete and full refund. I heard her yelling on the phone even though it was not on speakerphone. She expected an undeserved cash refund, on a holiday when the owner was with his family, and tried to bully Eddie (I’m assuming that’s the guy who answered the phone) into giving it to her. This restaurant has nothing but the best employees, the best food, and the best owners. Everything is made from scratch and absolutely worth the price. The margaritas are insanely good and also made in house, no sugary fake-tasting pre-made mixed to be found in this establishment. This is a high-end restaurant my friends and I love and definitely a hot-spot for people in the area. Don’t miss out based on a falsified review. I cannot believe someone would come on here to slander a restaurant just for a couple free dollars. Please support this business and every other family owned establishment you can! These are hard times and places like these are working even harder to stay sanitary and safe for people like you and me.

Really love this cute cantina. I had 3 (small) carne asada tacos, rice and beans. The meat is delicious. I had elotes (Mexican street corn) as a side and it was great as well. Their top shelf margaritas are fantastic. The best thing though was the service. Our waiter really hustled and made sure our every need was taken care of. Will be back soon!

A horrible experience. I ordered 9 tacos from Eddie at the front desk and only got 6 in which I paid almost 60 for those. My total was 29.12 I gave the cashier my debit card and he stated the charges did not go through so I paid cash. To get home check my checking account and was charged double. My bank could not release the funds because this restaurant has an authorization hold on it. I called the next day to speak with a manager and the host Eddie. I explained the situation to Eddie he said “ you only paid for 6 tacos” I then said “ But I ordered 9 and got 6 paid double so he supposedly gave the manager my number to give me a call to rectify the situation. I never received a call nor have anyone reimbursed my funds.. I will not recommend this place at all.... Bad bad bad.
El Mero Mero was an amazing surprise, menu was simple and fresh. The elotes appetizer was some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Decor and atmosphere felt exciting and don’t pass on the fried donuts for dessert. Chocolate dipping sauce is a great touch with the hot cinnamon sugar donut!
