This is the best place I have found for original mexican red pozole. They have a variety of drinks and food that they've made their own. I will always come back here for their authenticity!!

When we arrived place was completely empty. The place is modestly decorated. We liked the fact that they don't use lard in the coming according to the server. Food tasted good. Service ok. But they charged us extra when my son didn't like his ice tea and asked for a soda instead. Also table was totally unstable. When we told server about it he couldn't do anything. So we sat trying not to push too hard on one side in fear of things to fall on us. Overall it was a positive experience. We will probably check them out again in the future.

Found this place randomly when we visited San Diego. My wife and I were extremely satisfied on the level of service and how authentic the taste was. So good we can back for breakfast just an hour before boarding our plane.

The owners are top notch and the food is even better. First timer today but I plan to go back. Food was absolutely incredible!

This is not a restaurant that is in a prominent prime real state spot BUT it is worth the trip. I recommend a reservation (but they are not used to take reservations...funny) so if you go at peak hors be ready to wait for a while. The food is extraordinary, honest. I would say that a lot of restaurants in Mexico would be jealous of this place. The food is fresh with an impeccable presentation. The service is great but if you go when is mega busy they will disappear on you. The drinks are also good and done at perfection. The dishes are plentiful so I highly recommend to order and share, otherwise you will take half home. Next time we visit San Diego definitely I will visit again. It is fantastic.
