Egyptian Koshery

Koshery Is traditional Egyptian street food that is vegan, filling, and delicious. It's also very affordable. It is crispy onions, lentils, macaroni noodles, and a really nice, tasty sauce. This sounds like a very strange combination of things but it's delish. As is the tradition in Egypt, it is not a large menu. It's Just a few things done well. I also had the baklava and a very interesting pudding. I can't actually remember what it was but I was very tasty. I plan to head back tomorrow for Turkish coffee and Sunday for kannafa, a middle Eastern dessert. I also had a lovely conversation with the owner.

An excellent food experience and friendly service, too! I just learned about this place on Wed. while looking at a newsletter at a place where I often work. It's well worth the money.

We had a good visit. I thought while the menu is small everything tasted good and we enjoyed our meals. Looks like it will be a take out only establishment.

Midland needs more places like this. @babyshae it’s “Turkish coffee” from the Country of Turkey. It’s supposed to have coffee grounds in it that you don’t consume.

The Koshery was great! Highly recommend getting the hot sauce to go with it. Awesome to see more diversity in Midland's culinary options.

Wonderful atmosphere is just the beginning. We had the spinach pie, samosas, koshery, and falafel in a pita. This place is incredible. The samosas had a nice spice and were filled well. The spinach pie and baklava were so flaky and perfect! We ordered more to take home, and will be back soon. Many offerings that are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free

First time at an Egyptian Restaurant- great food and great experience. We ordered a few different items to try - they were all good. The owner was also really great. Will definitely come back.
