It was the rum. My wife and I purchased tickets for the gin and rum festival. A cultural expedition you understand. My lasting memory of the community hall was the cleanliness and absence of odour de Scout. The hall is large but not barn like and it has breakout space to the side. The large stage was utilised by a decent acoustic artist knocking out an eclectic mix ranging from James Bay to Blink 182. I would definitely consider this as a venue for future functions should the need arise.
