Excellent specialty coffee in the heart of Eger. The owner is friendly and incredibly passionate about his craft. Much recommended, probably the best coffee shop I visited in the country in a long while.

Kappu is the single best cafe in Eger if you are really into quality coffee. The owner has a very deep knowledge of the coffees and coffee culture and happy to share them with you if you have a bit of time. You can usually choose from two different coffees having different tastes and aromas. Try both! :)
Best cup of coffee in Eger! This shop is new to the coffee scene in Eger but has taken the top spot right from the start. The shop is owned and run by Koch Kristóf the 2019 Hungarian Filter champion. He made my wife and I a cup of their Gesha on a V60 and an iced Flat white with a light roast. Both were full of flavor and had bright notes! The shop's atmosphere is very inviting and Kristóf makes you feel like you belong the moment you walk through the door. He is happy to help you understand specialty coffee if you are new to that world. I highly recommend this shop if you are in Eger for a day or a weekend. You will not want to miss this gem!
