A prefect eel rice set. The eel is both crispy and soft inside. Excellent seasoning. Perfect condition rice. Order the whole eel (double size meat ) if you like eel!! I order the normal size and regret for the rest of my trip. Try to order the set meal if possible. Best food in the market.

Good unagi rice bowl. Reasonable price, I came during off peak hour and no need to queue. If you can read Japanese, look for Japanese menu, English and Japanese menu are different. It is same price but there is more stuff
Love the Eel here. we had it a couple of times at a sushi places and I still say the BBQ style here is the best we had during our trip. As with all eel in this area it is pricey but it's worth to try for the flavour. I also love the crispyness on the one side and the softness on the other. We didnt have to wait in line but it is a small place that can get super busy so going during off hours helps a lot. Fyi the entrance is a small staircase so it can be easy to miss at first.
Great unagi don! The eel is actually crispy on both sides and the insides nice and fluffy with a slight crunch when you bite into it. The sauce is nice and sweet with a good amount of savouriness and the flavours were great! I really enjoyed this eel bowl and if you are in the area, give it a try!
