This University area restaurant is long time, reliable standby. The food is always very good, if not super imaginative. Nothing fancy, but fresh and yummy. The service is friendly and the staff are well-trained. On this occasion we all ordered seafood and though the Thai Curry with Shrimp is a personal fave, the Haddock, Trout and Fish Special were all very good. The Caesar and green salads made good starters and the house wines went down nicely. Not fine dining but a lovely dinner out with friends nonetheless. We will continue to return with regularity.

Great food, service and ambiance. I can see why there is such a high rating. My experience with my wife was very good. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed a panini and boccocini salad and then a slice of cake. There is the restaurant part but also a bakery. What we had was delicious and nicely presented. I definitely recommend this place for good food and service. The restaurant is clean and well lit. The washrooms are clean also.
So nice this historic & lovely place remains in business. Took my spouse there and we enjoyed a delicious Chai latte sweets - fresh, friendly, affordable, cozy. The right venue for an early taste of spring. Took some delicious artisan bread home. We'll be back. Spanish spoken here! LCA
Just got their catered Christmas dinners... As far as I could tell the meat options seemed fine, they all came with sauces and seemed satisfying. My vegetarian meal was unseasoned rice with an unseasoned steamed stuffed pepper with some cheddar on top. I would not order their catering for any event where someone is vegetarian, kind of put a damper on the evening when everyone else got a nice meal.
Not your typical cafe! This restaurant is perfect for brunch, lunch or dinner and incredible reasonable prices. The food will not disappoint and I strongly recommend that you try their specials!
