Great option to support your local community and buy some items with less packaging/less distance travelled to help the environment. I love this place. They’re exactly the kind of down to earth hippy chic place I need in my life. The staff is knowledgeable and obviously good hearted. This establishment also seems to care genuinely about all the right things and keep individuality alive in the big city! I always feel welcome and respected! Well done :)
I don't know anywhere else in Edmonton that you can buy bulk environmental friendly lotions, shampoo, moisturizer, variety of oils, teas... with reasonable prices. This is a local non franchised store. Over the last 13 years that I know they have been around, the store has grew bigger but they still kept their friendly staff and peaceful environment.
Amazing selection of eco conscious wares and foods, bur even more amazing staff. I particularly an appreciative of getting free food and drink when close to expired goods are given away. Greatful to EG for all they do for the community.
Sustainability is the goal here and that's fully achieved through a careful curation of products and judicious support of community initiatives. Offerings include bulk cleaning supplies served up in donated reusable containers to herbs sourced from local gardens. Well worth supporting.
