The Garden Flat is in an ideal location for exploring all Edinburgh has to offer. It is very well appointed with high quality fixtures and fittings and provides everything that you would need for a comfortable stay. Scott is an ideal host and is happy to help with any queries including excellent recommendations for eating and drinking venues nearby. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the Garden Flat with our young son and my parents for 2 nights. Northumberland Street is a very beautiful street and in such a good location for exploring Edinburgh. There is lots of places for eating and drinking nearby. We loved Leo’s Beanery for breakfast! As soon as you walk down the stairs to the Garden Flat you know it is a special place and upon entry we were not disappointed. It is decorated beautifully and finished to the highest of standards. It has a lovely warm, homely feel and is very comfortable to relax in. The kitchen is very well equipped should you wish to self cater. The view from the living/dining area to the garden out the back is stunning. In fact, my only disappointment was that we weren’t there when it was warmer to enjoy the outside space. We will certainly be back to make use of the bbq and garden which is so prettily lit. The bedrooms are also lovely with lots of storage, extremely comfortable beds and the duvet and pillows were great quality. No complaints with the en-suite or bathroom either-great showers and lovely bath products provided. I really couldn’t recommend the Garden Flat enough and will be sure to return. Scott was so helpful and very prompt to answer any questions that we had.

This is a must stay place in Edinburgh. We stayed for 6 weeks and its perfectly located for everything to do in the city, as well as easy access to various transport to explore further afield. To stay in such a comfortable, well appointed, with a beautiful garden was such a treat, for my fellow Americans the king size bed, really is, and what you will be expecting and so comfortable. Close by there is many wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, local grocery stores, you can even stay home and BBQ if you fancy a quiet night home after exploring. Stockbridge's weekly Market is a must for everything, well worth a visit. I will be booking this every time I return to my old home town. You won't be disappointed!

The Garden Flat is a hidden gem in Edinburgh. The apartment is well equipped and spacious. Scott was extremely friendly and helpful. The location can't be beat: five minute walk to the busy Princes Street and ten minute walk to Stockbridge (excellent vintage shopping and local restaurants). Highly recommend this place. We will surely be returning!

We have just left The Garden Flat and wish we’d stayed longer. The Flat is in a fantastic location. Right in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town. It’s spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, warm and cosy, and feels huge! All the fixtures and fittings are very high quality, the plumbing is superb, and the beds are amazingly comfortable. I’m an incredibly picky person, but the flat is all fitted out exactly as a luxury flat should be. I really cannot fault it- and I have already recommended it to a friend in Canada to use when he comes over. Very happy to recommend- you will not be disappointed with this accommodation. Ross, from Worthing, West Sussex- (brother and sister living in Edinburgh).
