Looking forward to come back to this place! Nice food, huge selection of beers. Definitely a must if you're in the area.

We just went for a drink but looking at the table beside we noticed that food looked great so I decided to try the fish and chips. It looked a bit pricy on the menu but when I received the dish it was a huge fish an chips. My friend had the haggis Bon Bon (I am not a big fan) but to be honest they were very good, tasty and creamy inside and crunchy outside, I think they converted me to an haggis eater It was delicious and definitely worthy the money. Highly advices for groups of 6 for drink and/or for food, overall I’m glad we went as I will go back when it will be sunnier.

Recommend this cosy pub along the canal! Comfort food to the max - their haggis in a mug concept is a winner, as well as their range of gins and whiskeys. Prices around 10 for a main. Decent!

Grabbed Sunday lunch at Teuchters on the way out of Edinburgh on vacation recently, and I’m so glad that I did! What a really cool spot right along the water. It definitely has that “No frills” pub-feel to it, as you walk in the front door to the bar. But move on to the back of the restaurant and find cozy dining rooms and a waterside patio. They have GLUTEN FREE fish and chips!! This was seriously the only place we had f&c during our two week long trip to Scotland and it they were awesome. Looking around it seems like their mug meals were very popular, but we were very hungry so opted for the ground beef chili nachos in addition to the fish and chips. Very generous portions and everything tasted wonderful. Nice people working here too - be advised, you have to order everything at the bar. Wish we could have come back and drank here... oh well, there’s always next time!

Fantastic quaint little pub. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service and phenomenal food! Go early or late if you do want to eat, as it is understandably very popular and it can be difficult to find a table.

Friendly and efficient staff. Whilst the app was struggling at times the staff sorted the drinks very well. Sat outside and whilst pleasant the area on the water could prob do with a bit of a revamp at some stage as seems a little dated. All in all tho a great place for a few drinks.

I’m lucky to have ate lunch here around 5 times a week for over a Decade. So I keep going back, really good Scottish food & drink. The menu changes fairly often too. As does the beer, seems like different beer tap everyday. I enjoy a couple of beers & malts at lunchtime. I try to eat & drink different produce at each lunch. “Very happy to be spoilt for choice,”Literally”

Lovely outside area with tables well spaced out. Staff were great & explained the COVID safe guidelines really well. We scanned a QR code for the menu & ordered all our food & drinks online which was then brought straight to our table. Our meals were delicious & very much looking forward to visiting again. You don’t have to book in advance - first come first served depending on space available.
