Unhelpful, condescending, and sarcastic staff. I had horrible experiences two times I went but because I live so close I decided to give them one more shot. However, the final time I went one of the staff members determined I could not send a package that was 1cm too large according to him even though I explained that I had sent a package a week before to the same location in the same type of box and did not have any issues sending that one. I tried to explain but he would not listen and rolled his eyes at me. Will not be returning.
Staff try to overcharge you for postage even when you ask for the cheapest postage option. Have experienced it myself and witnessed it happening to others. Beware.
I was deluded with price of parcel I sent recently. The parcel was just sent from post office on 28-30 Morningside Road, Edinburgh, EH10 4DA. It was paid on or around 11 o’clock morning 16/10/2020 The parcel is less than 2 kg, value is less than 20. I sent it to London The price options I was given by person who served my, are 16 to deliver tomorrow or 11 to deliver on Monday. I was not informed about service level is it and was not informed about other options. Just 16 tomorrow or 11 on Monday I’ve paid 11. I’ve just check the prices on post office web site and found that I could take 2 times cheaper options for next day’s delivery. The options I’ve paid - is the next day delivery with signature. This is most expensive option. This is not a first time when staff of that post office is cheating and trying to take the biggest money for the services This is absolutely unacceptable.
They've always provided a good and friendly service with me.
