Recently came across this company after a property and business came up on rightmove and zoopla. The company are not in fact in Edinburgh but are part of a 6 name conglomerate based south somewhere. According to them, the property was recently listed and actively trading. In actual fact, after research, the property was no longer trading, had not been trading legally for some time, did not have evidence of trading, had unresolved planning issues, had been listed for approximately two to three years. Avoid at all costs, were very happy to sell a property with completely incorrect information and mislead prospective buyers.

Worst company I have ever dealt with after being in business for over 40 years. They do the minimum amount of work and charge a fortune for the pleasure over 5 years, no sale, no offers, no viewings and still have the cheek to ask for 1,200 to stop using their services! (What service) just out to take as much as they can from you, and after speaking to management about the poor service I was basically told it was tough luck and that i would still have to pay the termination fee as was in contract. Do not touch this company if your looking to sell, far better companies doing much better jobs for less money. So bad they even changed their name!
Calling me constantly to list my business - met their agent who was so poor it was tragic. He said he was new to the industry and all the questions I had he couldn't answer. When I asked what kind of training he had to enable him to give me a value appraisal of my business he said he had none, was given a list of calculations to use and that was it. My business isn't a complicated one - far from it (it's a bar/bistro) - but I'd like to sell it with an agency that sent someone who knew the market and understood appraisals. Their telesales people talk the talk - but I am afraid they won't get my business. They want alot of money upfront but can't give me confidence as to where and how it will be spent. Met another agency - well respected and knowledgeable in Scotland. They have my business and will also get my 2 restaurants when I am ready to sell those too.

I recently sold a cafe in Glasgow with Bruce & Co. The process was unfortunately delayed on a number of occasions, but with every setback Mike was extremely helpful and determined that we would get the sale across the line. He was very easy to work with on all matters and I would recommend him wholeheartedly.
