I have been a patient of Don's for many years and cannot praise him and recommend him highly enough. Not only is he one of the most qualified and experienced specialist optometrists in the UK, he has a lovely bedside manner and is kind, caring and compassionate. I myself am a veterinary ophthalmologist and think Don's enthusiasm and passion for all-things-eyes is second to none! I followed him to his Edgbaston Eye Clinic and will always want him to look after me. I have been a long term suffer with poor eye sight and have tried various optical options in the UK and US without success. One of the top eye surgeons in the UK referred me to Don Williams at the Edgbaston Eye Clinic.Don has transformed my life. In a matter of weeks. I have gone from poor vision (where I could no longer legally drive) to 20:20 vision. The clinic has the most advanced equipment I have ever seen (and over the years I have seen a lot!!) and Don is an outstanding talent, frankly he is a magician. I am just so grateful that I was referred to him. Thank you Don.
I attended Edgbaston eye clinic yesterday to see Mr Don Williams after being passed around elsewhere with no real answers. Having arrived with a lot of anxiety following previous diagnosis and worry with what may be my issue, Mr Williams was fantastic. I can't thank him enough for explaining every single test and outcome and ultimately giving me some reassurance of what has caused my eye problem. He went and explained the short term and longer term plan and I went away feeling a different person to the one that arrived. I will now be visiting Edgbaston eye care and Don Williams every 6 months for further assessment and continued eye care because it is thag good. Received a very professional service at Edgbaston Eye Clinic, Mr Williams had a wealth of experience dealing with all aspect of eye conditions, in my case it was Central Serous Retinopathy. We would highly recommend Edgbaston Eye Clinic to anyone who require eye treatments or eye tests.
