We had the 5 course tasting menu and was pleasantly surprised by the quantity and quality of the food. Everything tasted fresh and delicious!! Excellent service, very friendly staff. Had a nice evening. Highly recommend.

Today was the second time we went to Ganbei. Again via a Social Deal. Instead of the previous time it was now four savory courses and one dessert. The savory courses were amazing: three different types of sushi, surimi spring rolls, steamed oysters with a black bean dressing and as a main chicken curry, prawn stir fry, beef teriyaki and flavoured noodles. After this feast of flavours the dessert was kind of a let-down. Vanilla and strawberry ice cream, whipped cream and fruit, not very Asian nor in style with the other four courses.... But still Ganbei is very recommendable, but not if you are a dessert lover.
