Awful, never going back. What happened to the old owners? They were brilliant. I paid almost 6 for a cod, had to wait outside whilst they prepared the food (which I don't mind if they get the order right), then when I got home I'd clearly been given a mini cod. And the regular chips? Honestly the smallest portion of chips I've ever had (see pic). 2.20 for that?

I usually have a kebab every Thursday and they're usually packed with meat, but tonights kebab was pitiful... I had more pitta bread and salad than I had meat. I had roughly 3 slices of meat if I was lucky. If I get food like that again, I'm afraid I won't be going back.
Don't you just love the whingers moaning about tomato sauce and no fish at 9PM which apparently is a \Major Hassle\? get a life. The fact they had no fish at 9 proves how good it is and how quick they sell out, just whingers whinging for the sake of it. Fact is that this is the best chippy for miles around with fish chips and peas for under a fiver !!!!, just stop moaning for the sake of it and enjoying the sound of your own voice.
Superb fish and chips. Great service from the staff and by far the best chippy in the area.
Why pay 2.20 in here for small box of chips and two different sauces ketchup and mayo when it's 1 at the Bingham fish and chip shop. (Monday was the first time I've been in here for 3 years)
