What a wonderful little cafe and an absolute favourite with our family. The staff are extremely polite and welcoming and it is great to support a small family business in these difficult times. The only problem is deciding what to buy as there is such a wide array of delicious savouries, cakes and cookies to select from. The coffee is fantastic too!

I cannot say anything more about this place. The place, the staff and of course the food are amazing. Their brownies are to die for and the hot food is also great too! Couldn't recommend enough. Thank you for your services (especially during these times) and amazing food. Definitely will be back!
Have wanted to visit for ages and today it finally happened! Really friendly, welcoming staff. We had really good toasties, great coffee and the best cakes. Tried my first cookie pie and it was immense. Almost scared to go back, not sure I can trust myself. They also do online ordering which I am trying not to think about !!!
First, I must admit I have a small problem - I am addicted to this place! I came to the UK from California, and really struggled in the beginning to find a bakery that could cater for my autoimmune disease (I have to be gluten free, dairy free and soya free) and still taste good. Well Eat n Mess do just that, and is the most talented and tastiest cafe/bakery I’ve ever been to in the UK. The textures are spot on, packed full of flavours (my favorite is the lemon meringue donuts ) and the selection available is second to none in Kent. SO happy to have found this place and in my opinion, the prices match the quality of what you’re getting - this place gives you quality, quantity (other GF bakers would charge almost 30 for 6 donuts; at Eat n Mess, you can choose from their amazing selection 6 donuts for 18!), flavour and style (everything looks so neat and colorful) for a fair price. I come here once a week and have managed to convert my husband and his mum to the GF ways of Eat n Mess. Did I mention that the staff and owners are amazing as well? They’re the nicest people I’ve met so far and have always catered well for us! I love supporting small businesses that really go above and beyond, even during a pandemic.
The best coffee and cake place in Sevenoaks; I come here when in need of a treat and it never fails to disappoint! Cinnamon buns, cookies and the lemon and elderflower cake are so good. Hot food is delicious too. Owners and staff are always really friendly when you stop by.
