If I could give this establishment no stars I would. Went here on a Saturday morning around 11. There was only 4 tables occupied when we went in. There was a large group of 11 of us split into 2 tables. When we arrived they informed us that they would not have servers, only food runners because of covid and that we needed to order on the app. Out of the 11 of us I was one of the first ones to order. Everyone was getting there food except for me. No big deal, I used to be a waitress and understand how it is working in a restaurant. But after everyone has already received their food and eaten I still had not got my food. I asked an employee to check on my meal which was a Cuban sandwich, street corn and a side of fries. She asked my name and then came back to asked what I had ordered then disappeared for another 30 min. When she finally came back to the table she had informed me that they had burned the sandwich and were making me a new one. At this point I had been waiting an hour for my food. About 15 minutes had passed when she brought out a burnt soggy sandwich and the corn, but still no fries. She let me know she had taken care of my bill and the kitchen was working on complimentary cinnamon rolls for me. Everyone was ready to leave as we had been there close to 2 hours so I waited to get a to go box, so I went to the bar myself where the bartenders were having a conversation and ignored me but handed me a to go box. As we were leaving the manger came by to ask if I wanted the cinnamon rolls to go only they still weren’t done and I would have to wait. I would’ve liked my sides at least while I waited for my sandwich so I wasn’t starving but that was not an option since the I was ignored the entire time. This establishment was an awful experience from start to finish. I would NEVER recommend this place.

the green chili taco was very tasty. the pastor was something other than a pastor.. it was ok. I would not order it again. The mac and cheese was delicious as well as the pull pork. The fries did not suck. if only the staff could keep their masks on...
Not sure came to try out the burgers however you have to download an app to order and open a tab. No servers to take your orders There was only a bar tender tending to the people at the bar. I prefer to go to a restaurant and place my order with an actual person should I have questions in regards to the menu being your first time there. This may be due to covid if things change I would like to go back and try one of the burgers, sandwiches even that baked potatoe. And give an actual review on my thoughts of the food and service received.
First time at Eastside Tavern. I tried the BBQ nachos and the queso was not for me just too much of a smokey taste. But hey that's just my taste. The burger made up for the nachos a burger may seem simple but I can appreciate how they seasoned their beef patties packed with a lot of flavors. The melted cheese just sets the flavors off even more. I will become back they have specials every day of the week! The rooftop is something to consider when Texas offers up a beautiful day like today. 7 Burger night Mondays and Wine down Wednesdays with 1/2 price bottles gotta come to check it out!
Delicious pulled pork, melt in your mouth brisket, and pretty good cocktails. Initially we order the bbq sliders trio and the EST BLT—but they were so delicious that we decided (foolishly) that we wanted more and ended up ordering a two meat plate with brisket and pulled pork. We obviously couldn't finish the third entre and left absolutely stuffed to the brim.... But I'd be lying if I said I regret any of it—might do the exact same thing next weekend.
