Wow, great venue. Good layout, good views, great facilities. Food was excellent, very acceptable bar choices.
This was a lovely venue for a truly lovely wedding! It provided the perfect setting and dispite floods and the cold, it proved well worth worth using and provided some perfect settings for photo's etc.... HOWEVER.......The rooms provided for the weekend (which were extortionate, considering their benefits OR LACK OF THEM), we're truly unbelievable and UNACCEPTABLE! For the sum of DOUBLE THE PRICE IF OUR PREVIOUS NIGHTS STAY ELSEWHERE, we had: NO ROOM FRIDGE. NO ROOM KETTLE/DRINK FACILITY. NO ROOM WARDROBE. NO CONTROL OF THE ROOMS TEMPERATURE. A COLD (AND HOT) BARE BRICK FLOOR. NO CARPET OR RUG. AN ATTACHED ROOM WITH LIGHTS THAT KEPT COMING ON AND OFF ALL NIGHT WITHOUT CONTROL AND THE DOOR HAD HOLES AND MASSIVE GAPS SO THE LIGHT KEPT ME AWAKE. A SHOWER WITH ONLY ONE THIRD OF THE SHOWER HEADS JETS UNBLOCKED AND WORKING. AN UN MANNED OFFICE, SO NO ONE TO SPEAK WITH ABOUT THE \MANY\ ISSUES! In short, we were provided a bed, little else and LOTS of ANNOYING MISSING or either ADDITIONALLY DISAPPOINTING ISSUES! If the place reads it's feedback, I look forward to an APOLOGY and a REFUND simply to restore my faith in a venue that (OTHER THAN THE HOTEL PART OF THE WEEKENDS VISIT) was LOVELY. What a \REAL\ SHAME ?????
Attended a friend’s wedding here and was absolutely beautiful and very well organised.
Best wedding ever. Staff were fantastic, venue gorgeous, food was 5 star, and they catered for gluten free, vegan and vegetarian. we stayed over night rooms were impeccable, comfy bed, breakfast with the family, bride and groom in the morning. Could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding.
