I cannot recommend Melissa and Our Little Secret more highly for prom dress shopping. I have been fortunate enough to see Melissa at work with 3 girls - wow!!! She was so in tune with each of these teenage girls, putting each of them at ease; Caring, thoughtful, attentive and knowledgeable to each of their worries and requests. It was a divine experience from the start absolutely no pressure to buy in fact encouraged to leave and think about it back then come if you want. Our little secret is appointment only, this is easy to arrange and perfect for teenage girls who are self conscious, it also means you have Melissa to yourself which is perfect!!

My teen and I went to \look\ at prom dresses. I had no idea where to start so I googled \prom dress shops\ and this little gem appeared. I messaged and got a reply within minutes. Melissa is so nice and welcoming. She gets and understands teens. Melissa got my teen to open her mouth and express herself. We went through the dresses and some how managed to make a decision of 5 to try on. It's true what they say about dresses looking different when on the hanger........each dress was a different style, we found the perfect dress and my teen was beaming. Our look turned in to a buy job done. I obviously can't post a photo yet. As a mum that smile that Melissa created is the best look ever. X
What an amazing store and the owner equally as amazing!! The dresses were incredibly stunning, it was very difficult to choose. In the end it can down to two dresses and we tried them on so many times... Melissa was extremely kind, patient and made us feel very comfortable and in the end made me feel like a princess. I have the dress that I’ve always dreamt of for my prom. I would recommend not just the store for the amazing dresses but Melissa in particular for what a kind lovely lady she is that will make sure that you are stunning for your special day. Thank you so much!!!
I went with my daughter last week, having been to many bridal shops, and having no success. We found this shop amazing! The best customer service ever, and a beautiful wedding dress for Jo. Mel was so intuitive with tremendous sense of humour which we have to have when preparing for a wedding. Please please book an appointment to visit this gem of a shop!
Gorgeous dresses, my daughter just ordered her prom dress. Amazing service from Melissa, so patient and really focused just on you, I felt like she really understood what my daughter wanted and was so helpful. Highly recommend this lovely boutique.
