Lots of choice for crafts and cheap paints but also a section for high quality painting materials. A bit pricier than online but nothing outrageous and took be expected. Friendly team I will definitely shop there again.

The first stop for all your arts and crafts needs.... Hobbycraft is well laid out (with easy access for wheelchair pushchair users) and knowledgeable friendly staff. With a wide product range that will suit many especially for festive periods. Great car parking and restaurants close by.

On my last visit I found great deals in yarn department, which I was looking for, as I crochet and knit blankets for dogs to be donated to retired racing greyhounds kennels. I also have had some time to kill, waiting for my car repaired, and found myself wandering in alleys, coming across some interesting items that might inspire me to do some other crafts than my usual, like arranging pictures in frames of various sizes and shapes, organizer boxes, or wooden decorations.

Though they don't have an extensive range of fabrics, what they do have is lovely quality at unexpectedly good prices. I bought fabric here at 6 per metre that I'd previously paid 10 per metre at a dedicated fabric store. They do have a good range of threads and tools, and I could spend all day long just browsing this lovely shop. And I mustn't forget to mention that all the staff, including the chap on the door, are so friendly and helpful that it makes the visit all the more enjoyable.

Plenty of craft and hobby stuff. Plenty of staff that are probably willing to help. Only fault is that its so expensive for what you can get elsewhere.
