It's a nice place to go for a day out IF the weather is good! There is no indoor shelter, everything is outside. The train is good fun for the kids to ride, a pain when the queue is long in the summer as young kids don't like to wait. But there is a nice walk with several parks and other park like bits for the kids to do. The price for food and drink is what you'd expect. Parking is okay.

We visited today with my 2yr old son and husband. Make sure you book in advance and payment is taken on arrival. We spent the whole day here and my son cried when we had to leave. Its beautifully kept, train ride was fab (one free ticket on entry), play equipment was great and lots l benches. We had lunch at the cafe, it was very cheap 2.75 for a sandwich is fab! Highly recommend! I only wish we lived closer.

We stumbled across this place when looking for days out near Norman's Bay. It took around 20 minutes to drive and it was absolutely worth the little journey out to it. What a treasure it is. The train driver and conductor were very friendly and the train ride was excellent and a little more speedy than I expected. We had a great time on it. The playground and maze and walks were all beautifully maintained. We spent half a day here and enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you for having us.
