Have just been on phone to DB Domestics as washing machine making horrendous noises. The man I spoke to gave me some advice as to what may be causing this and I found a bra wire had jammed itself into the drum. Problem solved. They could have just charged me a fee for coming out to inspect and mend, but they didnt. Instead I got helpful, patient and friendly advice. Obviously, these people are not rip off merchants like so many others can be ! Thank you DB Domestics.
Good quality stuff at good prices
My 3-year-old Bosch dishwasher started to display an e:09 error. I decided to call out DB Domestics (this was my first mistake) to diagnose the fault and hopefully fix it. After about 15 minutes the engineer told me the problem was down to a faulty wash heater and PCB. I was then told that both these items would need to be changed and someone from DB Domestics would be in contact later that day with a quote. A couple of days past and I still hadn't heard anything, I decided to give DB Domestics a ring. I was astonished to find out the cost would be 390! After the initial shock had sunk in, I was then told that one of the parts was not in stock with any of their suppliers and would they would need to order it directly from Bosch in Germany and would take between 4-6 weeks to arrive. Alarm bells started to ring! I decided to phone Bosch directly who explained that it was unusual for both parts to go at the same time and if any parts weren't in stock they would only take 5-10 days to become available. Bosch recommended that one of their engineers took a look, so I decided to bite the bullet. When the engineer from Bosch arrived he completely dismantled the front of the dishwasher, this was not something DB Domestics did, he then ran several checks and diagnosed the fault to be with the heat pump only (70.61) which was replaced there and then. As I took out a service plan with Bosch the callout, parts and labour were all covered and the cost was a fraction of what DB Domestics had quoted. Please don't make the mistake I did and use DB Domestics.
