Steep pebbly beach. Lovely views across the Solent. Good path along the coast whichever way you want to go. Not great parking so we prefer to go off season and blow the cobwebs out.

At low tide a wonderful expanse of sandy beach. Unfortunately it is not possible to walk on a footpath along the top of the shingle except in a few places. This makes it more difficult for the elderly, infirm, wheelchair and push chair use. The shingle is steep down to the sand, and very few places to get to the sand without negotiating it. For the more able it is lovely.
Easy place to get too, nice high Street, good parking, clean toilets wonderful cafés and restaurant's, great pie shop, best pies. Clean and tidy beach with a fresh fish stall and iice cream parlour.
I didn't like the beach. Beach have so much stony ground.
Went here after a lockdown was eased. Water was clean and it was so much fun. There is parking right next to the beach, reasonably priced. The only downside is pebbles instead of sand.
Quite a lot of stones as you enter the beach but it really is a beautiful spot to visit. The carpark has limited space but there is food and drink available at the carpark. Enjoy sitting by the beach or some lovely coastal walks. A good place to surf of kayak
Catching the setting sun over the bay area is quite stunning. We'll worth the patient wait.
