Only 2.5 miles long but big in charisma. Worth a short walk to view the repair shed and workshop. There is a small cafe that caters for all tastes, great coffee and sausage baps, with inside and outside seating. There is also a small play area for the children. Parking is free and plenty of spaces. Also a very nice train inspired memrobilia shop with lots of goodies ranging from cuddly toys, badges to sweatshirts.

Enjoyable 15min trundle up the line through the Mendip hills...then pulled back because the steam engine needed a breather. The station is riddled with Victorian touches. The metalwork on the toilet facade at the end of the platform is amazing! Chuck in a kids play area, model shop, coffee shack and very friendly/helpful staff, overall nice day out.

Had a magical time on the santa special, all the staff were welcoming and friendly. Well organised to keep everyone safe, the children loved it. Excellent presents from Father Christmas too.

Great little line to visit. Very friendly staff. Enough to keep you interested and on site for a few hours. Enjoyed our time here and happy to recommend.
